The main functions of the employee holding these positions are:
- Manages the long-term and short-term asset maintenance of the Lithuanian State Archives (LVAT).
- Keeps records of long-term and short-term assets and inventories according to their location of use and responsible persons.
- Performs procurement procedures for goods, services, and works required by LVAT, as well as current financial control of initiated economic operations, within their competence.
- Issues for use and/or operation the acquired inventories and short-term assets.
- Drives the LVAT service vehicle.
- Ensures the safe operation of the service vehicle, oversees that technical inspections of the operated vehicle are carried out on time.
- Manages the use of the service vehicle, organizes its repair.
- Performs minor repair works of the service vehicle and building equipment.
- Performs other minor economic tasks as required.
- Analyzes information received from state archives, other institutions, and establishments on issues within their competence.
- Provides consultations to state archives within their area of competence.
- Executes other non-permanent tasks related to LVAT functions as assigned by the Chief Archivist of Lithuania and the department head.
Special requirements for the employee holding these positions:
- Must have at least a higher technical education.
- Knowledgeable about laws and other legal acts regulating the activities of the state archive system, public procurement, management of long-term and short-term assets.
- Must have a driver's license and professional qualification suitable for driving the LVAT service vehicle, knowledgeable about the operational requirements of service vehicles.
- Capable of independently assessing the technical condition of the service vehicle.
- Skilled in performing vehicle maintenance, technical servicing, and minor repair works.
- Able to independently plan and organize their work.
- Must have computer skills, knowledgeable in document preparation and formalization requirements.
