The civil servant performs the following functions:
- Processes information related to the implementation of decisions or coordinates the processing of such information as needed.
- Consults on issues within their assigned area of expertise.
- Reviews requests and other documents on complex issues related to the execution of decision implementation activities, prepares decisions and responses, or coordinates the review and preparation of decisions and responses as needed.
- Organizes the process of decision implementation or coordinates the organization of this process as needed.
- Prepares and submits proposals on issues related to decision implementation.
- Plans supervision and/or control activities or coordinates the planning of such activities as required.
- Oversees the implementation of decisions, recommendations, instructions related to supervision and/or control activities, or coordinates the oversight of such implementation as needed.
- Prepares and submits information on complex issues related to supervision and/or control or coordinates the preparation and submission of such information as required.
- Prepares and submits proposals on issues related to supervision and/or control.
- Prepares legal act projects and other related documents concerning supervision and/or control or coordinates the preparation of these documents as needed.
- Monitors compliance with the state archives' reading room organization requirements and proposes improvements for the work procedures of state archives' reading rooms.
- Performs administrator functions for LVAT-managed state information systems and document management systems, collects information and submits proposals for the development of LVAT-managed information systems.
- Coordinates and controls the technical maintenance services provided for the LVAT document management system and LVAT-managed state information systems, provides consultations to system users.
- Conducts low-value public procurements for information technology or technical maintenance services of LVAT-managed information systems and tools.
- Represents LVAT in European Union institutions and their working bodies on issues relevant to the state archival system's information systems.
- Deputizes for the LVAT civil servant responsible for managing, evaluating, and approving descriptions of documents stored in the state archives in the Electronic Archive Information System.
- Performs other non-permanent tasks related to the activities of the structural unit.
The civil servant must meet the following special requirements:
Education and work experience requirements:
- Education: Higher university education (not lower than a bachelor's qualification degree) or equivalent higher education qualification.
- Field of study: Information services.
- Field of study: Information systems.
Or:
- Education: Higher university education (not lower than a bachelor's qualification degree) or equivalent higher education qualification.
Duration of work experience: At least 1 year.
Foreign language proficiency requirements:
- Language: English.
- Language proficiency level: B1.
